Sue is an authority on bullying in schools and on teaching children the skills to help them become 'bullyproof'. She is is a psychotherapist, and the mother of four children. With a background in counselling, mediation and education, she has many years experience working with teachers, children and their families, in schools and in private practice. Her MA thesis demonstrated the effectiveness of teaching social skills to children who are the victims of bullying, in order to make them less vulnerable.

She is the author of 'Bullyproof Your Child', and 'Starting School: How to help your child be prepared'. This is the first in a series of four, which will cover from kindergarten through to the end of high school.

Sue has written several manuals for schools and pre-schools — anti-bullying, peer mediation and social skills programs for all grades. Her game, 'Beat the Bully', helps players learn strategies for dealing with bullying, and for acquiring the life skills to help them become resilient and to protect them from being victims. She has also designed posters for schools and parents.

As well as counselling, Sue designs and facilitates workshops for teachers and parents.
